Sally at 3 days old. No hair. Eyes and ears are sealed shut. She cannot regulate her body temperature so needs supplement heat. Needs to be fed every 2 to 3 hours around the clock.

Sally at 19 days old, no hair yet,eyes and ears still sealed. Still needs to be on the heat. Being fed every 3 hours now around the clock.

Sally at 3 weeks old. Hair starting to grow on body and tail. Eyes still shut and still needs heat.
Beginning to look like a squirrel

Sally on 08-09-03. A little over 3 weeks old and getting more hair everyday.

Wow. eyes opened at 32 days. They usually open around 5 weeks. Guess she was in a hurry. lots more hair on the tail. Still on heat. Feeding her every 4 hours now and once at night.

Here I am in my Tiki hut

I'm in the release pen for the day.

I'm in the outside pre release pen where I play durning the day. I can run and climb and jump and gets lots of exercise. I just love it -10-13-2003 I am 3 months old now

I'm in the house now. Its bedtime. I am now just a few days short of 4 months old. I'm a big girl

Release day finally,March 17,2004. I am 8 months old
mom kept me all winter as it was nasty weather and she wanted to give me the best chance to be a big squirrel

It's now 8 days sinse I have been released and as you can see I am really enjoying it. Mom brought me a big pan of food so I jumped on her knee to thank her. She still takes good care of me. She will keep you updated on my progress.I'm a big squirrel now.
