Music is "Born Free"
In the 2004 season,I took in 30 baby gray squirrels and 5 flying squirrels, Most of them were hurricane babies. I successfully raised 26 of them. 2 of them I gave to another rehabber and 2 did not make it.  They were to badly injured to survive. I tried all that I could. I mourn their loss but rejoice for the others. They are all healthy, fat, frisky and ready to return to the world they were born in. They were born free and will remain free. Their pictures are on this page. I hope you enjoy them as much as I enjoyed raising them. Most of them are still with me as of this date. I do not release my babies until they are between 5 and 6 months old. They have a little while to go yet. I have also taken a few squirrels back to release that other people raised but could not release due to varing reasons, mostly not a suitable habitat for them.
